The pea gravel was the most fun party of the party....or so the girls thought.
We had to keep an eye on Sarah, she kept trying to put them in her mouth!
Horses, horses, horses, horses. H.D. Sanders invited the girls to his 3rd birthday party and we decided we would go. H.D. has a few horse there and daddy thought it would be a good idea to see if the girls would ride or at least sit on the horses. Sarah wanted no part of it from the beginning and Molly was kind of skeptical. They played at H.D.'s grandma and grandpa house (which is where the party was) and had a great time. Their main focus was a great patch of pea gravel that they sat and played in for probably 20 min. Dad said when he gets time he is going to put pea gravel under the new swing set he built for them. I told him that was an obvious choice since they enjoyed it so much at Larry and Diane's.
Brave Molly....just wanted to hold he reigns.
Just a girl, her sippy cup and a horse.
We got ready to leave and Brian wondered if perhaps they might at least try ridding on the horse with H.D.'s daddy so he got on the horse and Brian put Molly (who never meets a stranger) on the horse with him and she was fine. He rode her around the yard and as long as she had her sippy cup that Mrs. Diane got for her she was fine! Sarah on the other hand was a different story. Daddy tried to put her on the horse twice. With a lot of screaming and crying I finally took her off. We tried to give her her sippy cup to see if that would make her happy, but no avail. Which is why we have no pictures of her on the horse. We had a good time and will try again either at Heath's house or maybe at Meme's and PeePaw's. I think if Meme gets on the horse with her she probably wouldn't be as scared. It sure was fun watching Molly!
